Many plan for their financial future but few plan for their future life.
You may be surprised to find it’s not as simple as turning the page. As a result, it’s not unusual to feel lost, confused or without purpose. And this disengagement can have a negative impact on your mental and physical health.
The key to finding happiness and purpose is to reimagine life so it’s aligned with your deepest desires. But the path forward is not always apparent.
What if you had a capable guide to show you the way?
When I ended my 30+ year corporate career to start my own business, I developed what I thought was a solid plan for my future. But a few months later, I realized I was in a deep transformative process. And I vividly recall feeling the need for guidance and support throughout my reinvention. This experience shaped the work I do today.
The post-corporate journey invites you to live in a brand new way, one of your own choosing. It’s about learning to rely less on the left-brain logical reasoning that made you a success in the past and more on developing trust in your right-brain inner wisdom.
This is the journey from head to heart, From Type A to Type Be.
I feel so much more prepared to for retirement. I am not as afraid of it as I was. When I look back in my journal I am blown away by all the amazingly useful tools you have given me and am beyond excited about what the future holds for me.

This is the sixth episode of the Strong & Vital Series, a well-being series focused on the importance of proactive wellness in midlife and beyond.
Join Kathy as she shares her personal journey, revealing how a major life transition led her to uncover the missing piece in her wellness – a deep, reliable connection to her inner compass. In addition, we’ll cover the components of inner connection, the impact of inner connection on your overall well-being, and practical steps to cultivate inner strength and build resilience.
The concept of interconnectedness isn't new. In ancient Indian traditions, they spoke of Indra's Net that stretched across the cosmos. At each intersection of this magnificent web, there wasn't just a knot, but a perfectly cut, multi-faceted jewel. And here's the magic: each jewel, in its flawless surface, didn't just hold its own light; it reflected the light of every other jewel in the entire network.
Think of your relationships as these jewels, each reflecting your own brilliance and contributing to the beauty and complexity of your personal network, where your actions, and their actions, reflect and influence the whole.
It’s in this spirit that we’ll explore how to cultivate and strengthen the jewels in your life and how to build a vibrant and supportive living net that reflects the best of who you are in the world.
Life transitions test our limits. Yet, we learn that true strength isn't about avoiding these tests, but in how we prepare to navigate them.
As we move into new phases of life, our connection with ourselves becomes our greatest source of resilience. What if your true power lies in your ability to listen to your intuition and trust your inner voice during these times of transformation?
I discovered this first-hand. My wellness journey began with a focus on physical health, which improved my mental and emotional state. However, it wasn't until a major life transition that I realized I was missing a deep, reliable connection to my own inner knowing.
Beyond the pursuit of physical strength, there's a deeper vitality to be discovered: your natural flow. This is not about passivity or avoiding challenges, but rather about navigating life's currents with energy and engagement. It's about recognizing that true strength lies not just in the muscles we build, but in the authentic expression of our truest selves.
It wasn’t until I learned to live in flow, to connect with and trust my inner self, that life began to unfold with a sense of ease and harmony. I’ve found that midlife, in particular, presents a unique opportunity to embrace this deeper vitality.
